Mixed Feelings About This Stay
dirty window room noise
The room looked somewhat worn. The window between the bedroom and bathroom was not clean. No one seemed to address these issues. I also noticed noise from adjacent rooms and hallways. This made relaxing difficult. The lack of attention to detail and noise control was disappointing.

separate sinks rainfall shower
I stayed in a feature double or twin. It was so luxurious! the bathroom was spacious with two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. the hotel has loads of activities, and i had a blast at glen's adventure park. it blew my mind.
the pillows were awful, i mean, they offered no support at all. the terrace restaurant menu could maybe do with more options.

Wonderful Family Getaway
kept grounds clean room large portions
The grounds were beautifully kept. Our feature double room was super tidy, including a nice view. The food was delicious and the servers at the private function were professional. Room service breakfast arrived promptly. The portion sizes WERE enormous.
Corridors outside the room needed hoovering. It did not happen for 2.5 days.

The staff in the brasserie were very attentive and professional.. Alvaro deserves special recognition. Hotel prices were as expected and the ladies in our party enjoyed the cocktails. The staff remained customer focused despite being very busy.

The location is prime. There is a golf course with a discount for hotel guests. The grounds offer SO much to explore, so boredom is unlikely. I recommend the horse-riding activity as it tours the extensive estate.

Breakfast WAS really good, and the portions were quite generous. The brasserie offered superb service. I found the food quality to be good. The staff handled my allergies with kindness, preparing my food separately and offering alternatives.
Facilities

The hotel offers great facilities.. it is unlikely that you need to leave the site. The new playground is very good and there is a bar. The hotel provides various activities. Action Glen really blew our kids' minds.
